After braving the hailstorms and vicious wind from our first day in Santorini, we woke up today and were thrilled to see that once again, www.weather.com was wrong and the sun had broken through. We rented a car and took a drive to Oia, one of the small towns on the North end of Santorini, to watch the beautiful sunset.
After the sunset, we strolled through the town and stopped in a studio to see what pictures they had to offer. We overheard this scintillating exchange:
Asian-American tourist: Wow! These pictures are beautiful!
Proprietor: Thank you.
Asian-American tourist: Did you take these pictures yourself?
Proprietor: Yes, I took these pictures. They are all mine. This is my store.
Asian-American tourist: Wow! They're all so pretty!
Proprietor: Thank you.
Asian-American tourist: *Long pause* So... are you like a photographer or something?
