This was one of those touristy things that we knew had the potential to be lame, but we decided to check it out anyway "since we're already here". That's never a good reason to do something. We headed to the All Colours Theatre to take in the longest running Black Light Theatre in Prague.
We weren't allowed to take any pics, so this description will have to do:
The stage was smaller than your typical high school auditorium stage. The theater itself held at most 150 people, all sitting in fold-up chairs. We're not sure if the production was supposed to be based off of some story, but it was a very odd experience. Picture Guy Laliberté (the founder of Cirque du Soleil) as a 10 year old, putting on a show using black lights and life-size puppets, using drugs for the first time in his life, and (obviously) operating within the constraints of his 10 year old budget... and there you have it, the Prague Black Light Show.
It was an hour-long show, but 10 minutes into it, we looked at each other and started laughing and shaking our heads. This was just as bad as the water-puppet show in Hanoi, but we only paid $3 for that show! We wouldn't recommend this one unless you're really bored or have kids.
