Top Destinations:
- Cinque Terre: A new addition to our list of faves, Cinque Terre was unforgettable in the natural beauty of its landscapes, amazing food and friendly locals.
- Florence: Everything a person could want in a city. We've heard that going in June/July (high season) is a nightmare, but we've been lucky enough to avoid the hordes on both of our trips.
- Piazzale Michaelangelo: For those of you that haven't been to Florence, this is the spot to enjoy a beautiful sunset overlooking the city.
Top Likes:
- Food!: No need to apologize for putting food on top of this list!
- Florence City Layout: The small, no-vehicles-allowed alleys give you a million little nooks and crannies to explore. Many of these little alleyways open up into piazzas filled with people just relaxing and enjoying their espressos... the perfect little spots to put your feet up, relax, and people-watch!
- Gelato!: Oops... does this count as food?
Top Dislikes:
- Shrinking City Centers: It could be our imagination, but it seems as though the no-vehicle city center of Florence is shrinking! The cars were coming closer and closer to the Duomo, encroaching on the areas where pedestrians can relax and take in the view without getting run over!
