More Pics of Nha Trang

Day 4: the sun (finally) came out yesterday, so we spent a lazy day at the beach reading our books, eating, drinking and sleeping. We decided to be a bit more productive today, so JB, Jaime and I rented mopeds! This allowed us to see a lot more of the city, and also resulted in some stressful merges during rush hour on our trip back to the hotel! After seeing all the pics we've posted of the crazy roads, you are probably thinking the same thing we were thinking as the three of us negotiated for good moped rates: "Do they want to die?!" We were extremely careful on our mopeds - never going over 20km/h - yet it still felt like any second we could get hit by a random bus or wipe out!

To recap, we took a trip outside of the "city center" to the Thap Ba hot springs/mud baths, and also stopped off at Long Son Pagoda during sunset. Long Sun Pagoda is a temple with an overlook of the city topped by an enormous buddha statue (think Corcovado in Rio).

Here's some pics...

Jaime on her moped... sorry the pic isn't straight, but I took it while riding!
