For the rest of you, here's a recap: Jaime and I visited the famous "Hanoi Hilton" where Senator McCain was imprisoned for over 7 years as as Vietnam War POW. After we left, we were (as usual) accosted by about 20 people offering us taxi rides, motorbike tours, postcards and souveneirs. We made a quick getaway, turned the corner and saw this little street/produce market. In our quest to explore every "nook and cranny" in each city that we visit, we popped in for a quick peek. It started out like every other run of the mill market selling trinkets, toys, souveneirs, t-shirts, etc. We walked a little further in and thought we were looking at roasted pigs when we got to the butchers' section. Upon closer inspection, we snapped a quick photo and left the scene as quickly as possible as we couldn't stand it for another second...

Anyone Hungry? -- Part 3
For the Vietnamese, dog meat is considered extremely "lucky". At the end of every lunar month they roast dogs for a feast in celebration. Growing up, we were often subject to jokes from our friends about whether Asians eat dogs. Well, for those people... here you go. A warning: this post may bother many of you; Jaime and I have been haunted by this pic. We strongly advise that if you are a dog owner or lover, or if you don't have the stomach or tolerance for certain pics... please skip past the rest of this post.
