There are only 3 hrs left before we leave LA, and we are running around trying to take care of all our critical last minute to dos! The pre-departure checklist seems to get longer each and every day: passports (check), plane tickets (check), hotel reservations (check), $340MM MegaMillions lotto tickets for the drawing on 3/6 (check); all the important stuff seems to be taken care of.
This evening, we will be flying 17 hrs non-stop directly into Bangkok, and that will be the start of our crazy little journey. It is finally starting to set in! Before leaving this evening, we're planning on getting In and Out burgers. Who knows when we'll be eating "normal" beef again?
We hope to check in again once we touch down and have had a few days to acclimate ourselves to the hectic SE Asia pace and lifestyle. Adios for now.
